ROMERO PINEDA & ASSOCIATES reminds you that in accordance with Article 190 of the Labor Code, August 6 of each year is established as paid leave for the “Celebration of the Divine Savior of the World”, which applies to both public sector workers. as from the private sector.

In addition, for the city of San Salvador the days are established August 3 and 5 as paid holidays.

The work centers that work on those days must pay an extraordinary salary made up of the ordinary salary plus a surcharge of the latter's 100%. Likewise, if they work overtime or work at night, the calculation for the payment of the surcharges will be made based on the aforementioned extraordinary salary.
