ROMERO PINEDA & ASOCIADOS reminds you that in accordance with Article 190 of the Labor Code, September 15 of each year is established as paid leave, for the commemoration of “Parental Independence Day”, which applies to both workers. and workers in the public and private sectors.

Work centers that work on September 15 must pay an extraordinary salary made up of the ordinary salary plus a surcharge of the latter's 100%. Likewise, if they work overtime or work at night, the calculation for the payment of the surcharges will be made based on the aforementioned extraordinary salary.
