Associate in the Intellectual Property department of the Firm. Currently, she coordinates and leads the Brand Protection and intellectual property litigation area.

Nadya boasts extensive legal experience spanning over 20 years, focusing on Intellectual Property, Commercial Law, Civil Law, Notarial Law, and Registry Law. His professional background encompasses corporate law and intellectual property experience in other legal firms with regional reach.

Her primary responsibilities include advising clients in any administrative or judicial incidents and litigation that may arise in various Intellectual Property procedures. Nadya specializes in analyzing, preparing, reviewing, and supporting the execution of all types of responses to objections or rejections faced in intellectual property processes. Furthermore, she provides strategies for filing or defending oppositions through administrative and judicial resources.

In litigation matters, she assists in out-of-court negotiations for the observance and protection of Intellectual Property, participates in nullity proceedings and cancellation of distinctive signs due to lack of use, engages in preventive actions against improper use of trademarks, actions against counterfeiting , border measures, criminal actions, and other Brand Protection procedures. As a lawyer, she represents our clients in registration, maintenance, and modification procedures of trademarks and other distinctive signs.

She has experience conducting workshops and discussions aimed at disseminating actions for the protection of intellectual property and preventing the misappropriation of these assets. Some of her engagements include serving as an expert in the workshop “Protection of Well-Known and Famous Trademarks” organized by the Intellectual Property Registry of El Salvador. She has also been a guest speaker at the Intellectual Property Chair of the University Dr. José Matías Delgado and at the Mónica Herrera School of Communications.

She is a member of legal and intellectual property committees in various chambers in El Salvador such as the British Chamber of Commerce in El Salvador and AMCHAM-El Salvador, where she serves as the Chairwoman of the Intellectual Property Committee. Additionally, she is an active member of the Salvadoran Association of Intellectual Property (ASPI) and is part of the Data Protection Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA).

Apart from her Bachelor's in Legal Sciences from the University Dr. José Matías Delgado and her notarial degree, Nadya holds a Master's in Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Additionally, her academic background includes a postgraduate degree in New Technologies Law from the Institute of Higher Education in Economics and Business Administration (ISEADE-FEPADE) in coordination with ESEADE – Argentina, and a Specialized Program in Legal Tech and Innovation from ADEN Business School. She also holds various diplomas and certifications in her specialized areas.
