The Global Anti-Counterfeiting Group, CACG, has celebrated this day since 1998 to raise awareness and take action to address the global trade in counterfeit products and the dangers of identity theft.

Purchasing counterfeit products affects the reputation of already registered brands and can even affect the health of consumers as in the case of counterfeit pharmaceuticals.

Romero Pineda, through the Brand Protection unit, offers legal actions at border together with the corresponding criminal action to protect the Intellectual Property Rights of our clients and thus promote respect for them, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights, also protecting the good faith and creativity of its authors.

On this day we congratulate the entire Brand Protection team who, with their effort and work, assert the rights of our clients.
