ROMERO PINEDA  reminds you that pursuant to Article 190 of the Labor Code, August 6th of each year is established as paid holiday leave, applicable to the employees of the public and private sectors to commemorate the Divine Savior of the World.

In addition, the 3rd and 5th of August are established as paid holidays for the city of San Salvador.

In this regard, employees working in the referred holidays must be paid an extraordinary wage composed of regular wage plus an extra charge of 100%. Also, if they work overtime or work a night shift, the calculation for the payment of extra charges will be based on the aforementioned extraordinary salary.
