Mr. Jorge Méndez is an associate attorney of Romero Pineda & Asociados and he is the Litigation Division Partner´s Assistant.

Since he joined the Firm in 1999, Jorge has advised and had experience in trademark, patent, copyright and domain name registration and the execution of remedies before administrative and judicial authorities. He has also handled research and trials pertaining to trademark infringement before judicial mercantile authorities and criminal courts.

Currently he is a member of the Litigation Department, handling criminal and commercial trials, administrative remedies before the Registry of Intellectual Property and the Supreme Court of Justice and is in charge of legal actions before the National Publicity Counsel.

Jorge obtained his law degree from Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas in 2004. In 2007 was authorized as Notary Public. He continued his graduate education at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, obtaining a diploma in Internet Consumer Protection.
