Mr. José Freddy Zometa is a Partner and Coordinator of the Firm´s Corporate division.

Since he joined the Firm, in 1998, Freddy has been advising various national and international clients, including multinational corporations and non-governmental entities. His activities includes obtaining authorizations and permits related to civil aviation, registration of foreign investment, corporate maintenance, execution of all type of contracts, coordination and execution of due diligence, among others. He has advised clients in diverse areas of their business operation, assisting them in determining the appropriate form of organization and their day to day activities.

Freddy has developed the Civil Aviation area in the Firm, having well known airlines as our clients. In 2006 he traveled to Caracas, Venezuela to participate in a course on Civil Aviation Law given by the Venezuelan Airlines Association. In the same year, he participated in a seminar for specialized attorneys in Civil Aviation Practice hosted in Panama city.

He has also represented our Firm abroad, in the various international networks to which we belong.

Freddy obtained his law degree from Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado in San Salvador, in 2000. In 2004 was authorized as Attorney and in 2005 as Notary Public. Prior to joining Romero Pineda & Asociados he served as paralegal of the Legal Department of Grupo Didea, an automobile distribution company. He has also taught Commercial Contracts at Universidad Francisco Gavidia.
